Back the blue is a program to Support Nevada law enforcement officers. A portion of all proceeds goes directly to Southern Nevada law enforcement officers who have been affected by traumatic events.
Behind the Blue, a 501c Nonprofit, provides assistance to Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Officers battling unforeseen catastrophic tragedy. Our mission is to help those who help our community.

The oFficer Johnson T shirt
Officer Stan Johnson has served LVMPD for over 7 years. He is known for being tough, gritty, and the definition of stoic.
His forthright manner and honest character impress those around him. His department, commanding officers, and the people whom he serves all come to love and respect Officer Johnson. He serves with distinction.
Recently Officer Johnson was involved in a vehicle collision where multiple suspects attempted bodily harm against Officer Johnson and innocent bystanders with their vehicles. Officer Johnson managed to push several bystanders from harm’s way but tragically was caught by a vehicle and severely injured.

The Detective Smith Shirt
Officer Stephen Smith loves the outdoors. When he is not on duty, he loves hunting, fishing, and camping. He is known for his passion for the outdoors among the department.
Last month Officer Smith was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer. Though heartbreaking, Officer Smith has faced the news with a smile and cheerful heart, helping his family around him.

Our vision and mission
We felt called to action after seeing departments in our beloved Southern Nevada region were being saddled with heartbreaking announcements of cancer diagnoses, transplant needs, and extended hospitalizations for various ailments. Unable to always provide assistance due to the family member affected, our agencies were relegated to watching individual officers post crowd raising efforts to seek assistance.
We provide support for Southern Nevada law enforcement families experiencing catastrophic events that may not otherwise qualify for financial assistance through their department because of the nature of the event or the family member affected.
